Just in time for the Northwest Flower and Garden Show, February 5-9. The Prairie Slip, a great layering piece, embellished with some of my most coveted vintage laces and trims. Come early as quantities are unique and limited.
Mark your calendars folks!!! Words cannot describe how wonderful, inspiring and downright awesome this show is...and it only gets better and better!!!
Hearty thanks to Jackie and Jo and all the lovely vendors and customers that made Island Chicks the place to be yesterday! It was packed and amazing!
This is Island Chicks!! Come on over this Saturday for some vintage goodness and a fine collection of vendors that give it their all!
As many of you know...all my manikins are named. So here is Esmerelda being draped for a lovely vintage top in prep for Ruffles and Rust.
Let the teasers begin....Now this is a gown! Crushed velvet in a seal gray with crinkled tulle ruffles. Vintage laces and pearl embellishing. (All put together from my secret stash of my favorite findings)...Available at Ruffles and Rust Vintage Market, October 4-5, Monroe Fairgrounds.
It was a dark and rainy night last night with a hint of autumn. As I prepare for my fall shows and dig around in my studio for coordinating trims...I am all too embarrassed to admit...I find many items I don't recall purchasing. Not that that's a bad thing, especially in the case of this gorgeous beaded and hand embroidered velvet ribbon.
