 A fresh new look...just in time for Farm Chicks !!  Sewing tip for the day.....as in life..there's a time to push and a time to pull.  Just getting warmed up....  There's a new gal in the studio at Rose Marie Designs...and she needs a name. I sure hope Tina and Esmeralda adapt to sharing the space, especially "Tina the terrible" !  Fabulous show with many fine vendors and tons of great finds. If you missed this spring show...you should aim for the fall event in October. This show just gets better each time around.  Ruffles and Rust teaser...going for elegance in soft shades of pink, aqua and green...and throw in some Scotty dogs, why not ?  New pattern and new color just in time for summer !  Last week I made a delivery in person to my favorite shop, Hula Gypsy on Maui. It was nice to celebrate our 10th anniversary and visit with my pal, Anna Jackson. The shop looked fabulous and many of the pieces have already sold, with a new order pending...Aloha for sure !  It just got girlier at Rose Marie Designs !!  As promised, a fresh before and after. This 40's coral taffeta gown was in pretty good shape, except for the absurd alteration that was attempted in brown thread from the exterior of the garment (insert cringe) by one who had no business anywhere near a sewing machine. That was removed and new and vintage trims took root and here are the lovely results. This will be available at Ruffles and Rust Show next month. | Find me in 2012
